Community Development at 40

"Forty years ago, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy spearheaded legislation to create the nation’s first community development corporation, Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration in Brooklyn, N.Y. This issue of Shelterforce marks that milestone by examining the CDC movement at 40, exploring its changes, challenges, and innovations."

La revue Shelterforce publiée par le National Housing Institute ,toujours aussi vive et instructive, nous ramène sur les traces du développement communautaire en essayant de voir quelles seraient les évolutions futures d'un "monde" structuré, flexible mais fragile .

Team 10 online

Someone passed me this info....TEAM 10 is not only about housing, it is maybe more about dwelling or living. But for sure the future expo in Paris will be an amazing retrospective on this group.

"Dear friends and colleagues,

For the occasion of the opening of the Paris edition of the Team 10 exhibition we have put on-line the papers of our three Delft conferences dedicated to the Team 10 legacy. Contributions by Christine Boyer, Kenneth Frampton, Francis Strauven, George Baird, Max Risselada, Zeynep Celik, and many others are made available as downloads from our Team 10 website: www.team10online.org.

The Paris edition of the Team 10 show will open March 19 at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (www.citechaillot.fr), alongside the retrospective of the Atelier de Montrouge.

with best wishes,

Dirk van den Heuvel"
