Monitoring 14 cities worldwide

Veolia Environnement and the Ipsos Institute have carried out a major survey on urban lifestyles. The study was conducted from September 2 to November 30 2007, a mong a representative sample of over 8,500 individuals in 14 major cities located throughout the world.

The survey’s aim was to gain insight into the relationship city-dwellers have with their cities; to inventory their hopes and fears, and to monitor their future expectations.

With over 300,000 employees worldwide, Veolia Environnement is developing its services with respect to water, energy, waste, public transit and cargo management, targeting services for communities and manufacturers.
